Hi yes sure. Tokyo is the best for access, convenience and so on but Kyoto is also recommended because you can feel historical Japan 😊

Depends on the scale. Tokyo can get expensive very quickly. Yokohama is usually a good choice for reasonably large conferences. Easy access from Tokyo too. Kyoto and Sapporo are also good for large conferences as well as tourism.
