Release snakes into the van to kill the mice, then release a mongoose or something to kill the snakes. Then you will need a hawk to kill the mongoose, and finally the hawk will either leave willingly or be unable to survive winter

Glue traps can often work well too, just place them under furniture or somewhere a pet cant get to it. Removing a glue trap from a dog paw is hell. Bonus is that glue traps also catch other critters, insects, scorpions too.
