So, what many of us have been waiting for has finally happened: GrapheneOS has announced the creation of an alternative to Google Pixel, the "GrapheneOS Phone".

To be honest, I secretly hoped that the partnership would be with OnePlus, because OnePlus makes high-quality devices with 10-year-old displays that are better than Pixel 9 and Pixel 10.

But I am encouraged by the fact that Motorola was the first to approach GrapheneOS.

The guys need sales, and they need something to stand out from the crowd.

Come on, how many Motorola models can you remember without using a search engine? I can remember the Motorola v70, Motorola C115, and of course the iconic Motorola Razr v3.

And what better way to stand out from the crowd than a partnership with GrapheneOS?

I believe in the holy power of networking.

And I'm sure that some of you know someone who knows someone, and so on, all the way up to someone at Motorola.

Please tell Motorola's management that they have a unique opportunity to boost their sales in a big way, and that they should make a high-quality device with a high-quality display (which, by the way, Pixel has always lacked) so that it is not only safe to use, but also enjoyable.

Thank you.

I can only remember RAZR (owned v3 with some iTunes feature in 2005 or so) and the Nexus 6 which actually was originally size bump of a design of some Motorola phone they shipped with a wooden back. No idea what it was named anymore.

I'm not quite sure what bothers you about the Pixel displays, but I agree with you that Motorola has a unique opportunity to boost their sales. If they can deliver a GrapheneOS phone with good battery life, a great camera and a good display I will buy it without much hesitation. As long as the Gra...

This is so cool. Motorola are the biggest hardware suppliers for the NSA. I'm so excited to try this out. 😊
