This has been sitting in storage for nearly 20 years.

Plugged it in, and it powered on straight away (albeit the screen isn’t perfect, but that’s ok still).

Anyone who grew up recording tapes off the radio or burning CDs will appreciate that the 1st-generation iPod nano really was an incredible piece of engineering. Compact, beautifully designed, and remarkably well built. It was one of those products that genuinely moved technology forward, rather than just iterating on what came before.
