After I sketched the girl, I decided to add some random strokes to the background, and it only made the #sketch look worse. Tomorrow, I’ll probably skip the spontaneous experiments 🙂

I like the wall/floor texture. The shadow throws things off for me. It doesn't follow the shape of the body, like it's being cast from a block.

I bought some india ink and have been painting my backgrounds with it on my sketches. Really make everything pop with the high contrast.
