I think UBI could work if in tandem with UBI, other safety net programs such as unemployment, welfare, SNAP, etc are done away with. That way it removes the incentive to not work since those programs ...

I don't understand UBI. Wouldn't it just make more sense to contract the supply of USD or even just stop taxing individuals? The their gunna print anyways, so American citizens should be the beneficiaries of being the world reserve currency while we can.

Fiat can't really contract the money supply since fiat, at this point, inherently relies upon expanding the money supply to keep debts from collapsing the system. Americans are and always have been the beneficiaries of having the world reserve currency. Printing the currency to facilitate trade and...
