For my first indoor grow, I built 2' cubes for pots with ~1.5' deep soil, and had plants 3'-5' tall.
You're better off growing for big plants, and pruning it (or training it sideways) to your desired...

I’m probably only going to have room for a small tent probably like a 2x2x4 or 2x3x4…
As for outdoors I’m probably going with the 3 gallon planters pots again…
