⚡👓 ALERT - Meta is under pressure after warnings that facial recognition in its Ray-Ban smart glasses could be misused by stalkers and sexual predators.

A planned feature internally called “Name Tag.” would allow wearers to identify people in real time using the glasses’ camera and Meta’s AI systems potentially linking a stranger’s face to their public social media profiles.

I really want some kind of camera glasses but I don’t want to buy anything from Meta. Does anyone know of any other brands that isn’t so creepy and can still do livestreams? I want to use it while painting pictures.

Silly Meta, only the government can use facial recognition. Because the government would never misuse it of course.

Anyone allowing the Lizard Overlords access to everything you see, hear, and say deserves servitude and totalitarianism.

Those have to be the dumbest, dorkiest glasses I have ever seen 😝 META is pure garbage, of course they have facial recognition in them. Just logging everyone’s face and geolocation I’m sure.
