It is very important for FOSS developers to see that their work is appreciated and, more importantly, that they are rewarded with XMR.
I have already "forced" several FOSS projects to add a Monero wallet and immediately sent them the first XMR (50-100 USD) because these FOSS projects are important to me.
In addition to supporting FOSS that is important to me with FOSS currency/money, I am also trying to influence the circular economy of Monero.
That's my logic.
