This was really, really good!
The lack of privacy is not the only problem in El Salvador. Bukele has tightened state control over firearms. Why? Isn’t it the safest country in the Western Hemisphere?
It's funny how Bukele managed something that is quite difficult...
Saddam Hussein challenged the forces behind the U.S. dollar's dominance ➡️ he became the public enemy number 1 and got killed.
Muammar Gaddafi challenged the forces behind the U.S. dollar's dominance ➡️ he became the public enemy number 1 and got killed.
Nayib Bukele challenged the forces behind the U.S. dollar’s dominance ➡️ he became an international superstar and is now consulting political leaders on how to deal with criminality.
I would hope that he would focus more on the peer-to-peer cash side of things, but he seems to be very focused on other things nowadays. This is what Bukele had to say about how countries should approach criminality:
“There is no state that is unable to fight the criminals. If a state doesn't overcome crime, it's because it is complicit.”
And this is what Bukele said about the same topic some time ago:
“People finally understood that our country has moved from just eliminating violent crime, to a stage in which we'll eliminate all crimes. There is still petty theft. There is still contraband. There is corruption. There are scams. There is environmental contamination, done by individuals and companies.”
“We are moving into a new stage in which our country must not just build the safest country; we are already the safest in the hemisphere.”

“You have an AI agent reminding you and supporting you in your individual responsibility to stay disciplined and stick to your treatment.”

Just a few years ago Bitcoiners were big fans of Ron Paul.
"Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens' lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons."
- Ron Paul
This could not be any further from the “Bitcoin president” Bukele.
