One of the nicest qualities that I’m glad I developed is being genuinely happy for people that have nice things that I don’t have yet. I can’t imagine living a life of envy and jealousy. I have extended family members that actively sabotage each other because they don’t wanna see anyone do better or live happier. Sad.

Seems small but it’s such a massive life improvement to be genuinely happy for others

Life is too short to worry about other people’s possessions. We can all be here and be happy. It’s ok

One of the nicest qualities I’ve developed is successfully being able to bury my rage. Took over a year. I’m not jealous nor envious of those that don’t know the difference btwn anger and rage and keep talking shit like they do.

I've always thought that's a huge character test

Jealousy is a mind killer. And a relationship killer. I can understand being envious, but to actively sabotage people is psychotic.

I notice the crabs in a bucket anytime I work to improve myself. Always trying to claw you back down.

It makes me sad as well when, while I'm doing fine despite my current situation, it feels like a script when I'm being pushed a certain direction. Not out of jealousy or envy, but of arrogance (which grieves me even mroe).
