@nprofile1q... There's no near term plan to change it. We'll also still be using Matrix and Discord even if we start trying something new. We could eventually replace both in the very long term but we have a lot of requirements and it would be a slow transition to anything else. We probably wouldn't get rid of Discord but rather would be primarily replacing Matrix with another open source option but without federation.
