I always interpreted the spoon bending scene from the matrix as “your limits are self-imposed”. Is this how it’s meant to be interpreted? Or do you see something else when you look at that?

I have never watched the movie but seen the clip, I interpret it that way too, and also just that things aren't always as they seem. I've heard a lot about this movie, maybe I'll watch it tonight 🤔

I interpret it this way. The kid says "there is no spoon" - which is true because its all a computer simulation. Therefore the kid can do whatever he wants with the spoon, including bending it to start with. Neo takes this to the extreme and stops bullets, etc.

In the most basic sense, yes. In other words, the reality is what you see it to be.

There is no spoon. You own your reality, therefore, you have control over it.

Dont search. Instead just see reality as it is. When we see that all forms are empty, how could they be limiting? Who exactly would be confined?

Yes essentially. I interpret as that reality is a reflection of the mind, we project our reality to so bend reality we must bend our mind.

I always looked at it as a cool visual effect.
