Honest opinion on Block’s bitkey?
Pretty nifty as long as nothing goes wrong.
The bitkey device is intentionally designed so that the key it holds cannot be backed up (even by Block). If it gets lost, stolen, or broken, etc, the user is then inherently relying on Block to rotate funds to a new 2-of-3 keyset for use with a replacement bitkey device.
There's a lot that can go wrong there that's out of the user's hands (and even a little that could plausibly go wrong that would be out of Block's hands as well).
