I think every major AI company, espeically if it goes public, should set aside a significant portion of its equity base for the public. The people whose data was used to train these models should have equity in these companies. They can sell down that equity if they need to. This avoids the problem of having to afford UBI, which we know won't work anyway. Equity-based stakes make more sense.
