Saw this yesterday and thought of you. People gave to give away their Egyptian money to even get the gbp!! https://cdn.nostr.build/i/fb29379cfcdfada35cd4dd2354a4122c760e4bc3e1346a0c3b8b99bb51c687c9.jpg

All cultures exploding their beauty and what they have best, sound money will make the world irresistible.

Why do so many Bitcoiners wax lyrical about low time preference and beautiful buildings, but—not necessarily you but many others—continue to wear ugly, high-time-preference clothes (T-shirts and shorts) and use high-time-preference foul language (swearwords like "f*ck" and "sh*t")?

One would think that "low-time-preference" Bitcoiners, who wax lyrical about beautiful buildings, would jump at the opportunity to bring back beautiful clothes and language. Unfortunately, this is turning out not to be the case.

You could jump that wall on your right hand side and find someone to talk to someone about it. Downside: keys could just disappear one morning.

I must admit I fell for the anti-egypt (probably islamaphobic) propaganda before your notes here.

If you have time you should go to Abu Simbel, Louxor and Assouan

I have never been there. I wonder what Kashmir looks like, not saying you are there.

The problem with sound money is that it reduces the state's control over the citizens. I'm thinking that "Hey Mr el-Sisi, I've got a great plan to put power back in the hands of the people" probably won't be received with much enthusiasm.

Agreed! It would be such a great place of merging the old and new worlds. The Egyptian people have that Tahrir (Liberation) Square mindset and are so gritty and inspiring. Even the camels are suspicious of foreign interference. (No more trying to kiss a camel for me.) https://cdn.nostr.build/i/77e0...
