@nprofile1q... Ok, so you still got vlc, and not vlc-noX, good to know.

The openSUSE provided vlc indeed does not have all the codecs enabled, because stupid codec patent/licensing issues.

I'll make a note to get that fixed (I frankly thought I had already fixed it)
