We went through two economic crises. One in 1929 and one in 2008. Not to mention the 1970s which brought us weaker cars. This affected the butter prices. Sadly. And now this business with diesel.

Why don't you whip the cream yourself? You can buy big tubs of cream whenever they are reduced price and just make your own butter from them for a fraction. Same with cheese, when the milk is a day away from expiry and they put the prices down, buy a few gallons, make cheese.

We have to buy ours from Costco once every couple of months, or when it goes on sale in grocery stores. Otherwise the price is crazy expensive.
