Privately connect your finances to the AI you already use.

ChatGPT and Claude are incredibly powerful. Era gives them the one thing they're missing:
Your actual financial context.

I don't let AI near my bank login or account details.
Neither does Era.

It connects through MX. You authenticate directly with your bank. Era never sees or stores your login, password, security questions, MFA codes, full account numbers, or routing numbers.

Your AI sees structured financial context—balances, transactions, categories, spending patterns, recurring charges.
Not your credentials.
That's the difference.

This isn't another finance app with an AI chatbot bolted onto it.
It's agent-native—a context layer for the AI you're already using.

Cross-agent memory means you tell Claude you're saving for a house down payment. ChatGPT already knows. No re-onboarding, no re-explaining, no starting over.

No generic advice that ignores your actual numbers.
No pretending a chatbot can help with your money when it doesn't know your money.

Ask your AI what you're actually spending on subscriptions.
Ask it if that streaming service you cancelled is still charging you.
Ask it a real question about your money and get a real answer—because it finally has the context.

I was using Monarch.
I'm all in on this now.

This is the future of finance—and soon, investing.

I hate the idea that aggregators are necessary for these kinds of solutions. If I run my life out of a single account, this kind of thing should just work. In the meantine, I'm keeping my eye on this...might evolve into a self-hosted alternative to Era (even if it still relies on aggregators). h...

"Integrating AI with personal finance is a double-edged sword—even with MX as a buffer, data exposure risks remain. Reminds me of how Russia just evacuated Bushehr’s nuclear staff, likely anticipating escalation. Trust in intermediaries (or AI) erodes fast when stakes are high. https://theboa...

Public AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, etc) should know nothing about your finances. Never. Use self-hosted LLMs instead
