recently, a family relation I am not close with asked me to do some graphic design for his new business. i said sure and gave him a quote, which was actually on the low side. he seemed shocked I was asking for real money for real work and ended the conversation. later I saw that he ended up using ai to design everything. it looked completely boring.
It drives me crazy that this is where we’re at, but ig ultimately you cannot sell a designer dress to someone who is happy with a walmart tshirt
