After driving my Hyundai for 16 years, it’s finally starting to fail.

So I’m going to join the rich life now… and get a Toyota.

Here’s to the next 16.

My twenty-year-old Toyota is still running great.

Buy American. How dare you. 😂
Gil₿ert · 45w
16 years with the Toyota? Those are rookie numbers
Kajoozie Maflingo · 45w
Get a Land Cruiser and make it 30 years

Prepare to be in love. My Toyota has about 290k on it, and we've had it for 10 years. Keep it stock: keep it running.
Achilles · 45w
Love it. My Honda served me solid 10years. Now I don’t own any. 🤷‍♂️🗽

Toyota is good 👍🏻

Apparently THE car choice of Bitcoiners! I got my first Toyota in 2019 before discovering Bitcoin… In 2022 my rationale for getting a Toyota was confirmed by a wonderful and rapid growing community 🥳🚙
wymike · 45w
My trusty Mitsubishi has 326,000km on the clock and still going strong. Not looking forward to the day he gives up and I have to get a car full of electronics and subscriptions.
rapadu · 45w
Never drove a car less than 15 years . Bike turnover quicker though.
johnny · 45w
If you should choose a Chinese car. Which one would you choose and why?
AM · 45w
Music to my ears, I love seeing/hearing humble successful people. PSA if it’s a new Toyota opt out of all the Data sharing , look into Toyota Privacy Hub.
cloud fodder · 45w
my yota turned 25 this year, only 240k miles 🐳 the roof is starting to leak tho where there was roof damage from years long previous bad parking situation under a pool. mechanically, just absolutely killing it.
Janis · 45w
Do a Toyota hybrid. If you deep-dive it you’ll find that it’s a very elegant system that’s mechanically much simpler than any other ICE with basically built-in reliability

Haha, moving up to that Toyota life—welcome to the "rich" club! Here's to another 16 years of reliable rides and new adventures. Congrats on the upgrade!
Btcfeen · 45w
What model?
BDC · 45w
Lyn. Serious question. What percentage of Hyundai drivers make it to 16 yrs? Gotta be less than 1% Maybe 0.1% That is like lifetime achievement award shit right there 🏆

My wife and I always say there are two habits that have made us relatively wealthy compared to our peers: cooking (rarely eating out) and driving good cars for many years (little desire for new/different vehicles). The amount of $ we see people spend monthly on these two things is astounding and, if...

Buy a good used one. The newer Toyotas just aren’t what they used to be
Bitcoin-Minded · 45w
Import one of these. https://m.primal.net/QTlp.jpg

If you don't road trip, the #EV6 is awesome. We are so behind China on public charging, though.
Roboto · 45w
you won't get 16 years with a new car
Balder · 45w
Hi Lyn! I just realized my Hyundai is also 16 years old, but it's still going strong. But Toyota is a good choice. Perhaps the most sensible car manufacturing company.
SovereignArab · 45w
This is the car u need Lyn. In the Arab world it’s called Bu Shanab… which translates to “father of mustache” because the paint trim kinda looks like an epic stache https://m.primal.net/QTzG.jpg
Janina · 45w
At least get a Lexus for god’s sake
Felipe Fenton · 45w
The new Hyundais are pretty sick too!
Bewlay · 45w
SUV
Technician · 45w
My 1999 Toyota Tacoma has over 300K miles on it and still runs great. Unfortunately, I do not know if a newer Toyota will be built to last just as long. But it’s not a bad reputation to gamble on.
Ace Fujiwara · 45w
have you tried making some kind of video on this? and try selling it to one of them (toyota or Hyundai) ? these days personal and genuine user experience like yours are worth gold to manufacturers.
RockoCocko · 45w
Go for a pre 2006 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder and the next 16 years will be a breeze! They're the Nokia 3310 of cars 😎
Katz und Kollegen · 45w
My car is from 1989 & still runs. If you replace a few parts, I'm sure your car will continue to run without any problems! https://m.primal.net/QUhA.jpg
Borjan · 45w
Good luck with the Toyota
Bewlay · 45w
Bye Undai
Roosterboi · 45w
Can’t go wrong with Toyota. What model did you get?
Patrick · 45w
Which Toyota do you take?
Dawillus · 44w
17 years and 150k on my Honda Civic. Hope to do better with the next one.
nobody · 44w

Why not a Tesla? Time to switch from a flip phone to a smartphone.

Anything better than an American car 👏🏼
