This week was a cleansing of self-custody Bitcoiners.
Want to weaken a community? Break the zealots.
Remove the figureheads.
Scare off as many as possible.
I continue to believe Bitcoin’s true use case is self-custody:
sovereign, permissionless, & independent of any third party.
I do not view this as tempting fate.
I view it as fulfilling the vision Satoshi intended… holding the world’s most impeccable collateral with absolute sovereignty.
