i don't disagree with this.

but it unfortunately also applies alarmingly well to cypherpunk and voluntarist groups as well. where are the ancap free cities attracting commerce and immigrants with their promises of deregulation, taxless transaction and absolute freedom?

Bitcoin is the ancap free city that worked. No territory to invade, no borders to enforce, no mayor to arrest. The state can't overpower what it can't locate. Turns out the trick was building the city in math instead of real estate.
