But they were both sufficiently tangential to the economy that with sufficient pressure, industry gave them up. Sadly AI is already shaping up to be in the same category as the fossil fuel industry: So entrenched that it may have to be prised out of the cold, dead hands of capitalism, to use a grim analogy. ☹️
