What is the greatest action cop movie of all time, and why is it 'Hot Fuzz"?

Just finished watching it with the kids. Honestly hard for me to tell if I like this one or "Shaun of the Dead" better. Two absolute banger movies. I think Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright, and Nick Frost hit the high water mark of their careers with these 2 movies.
