There are currently two ways to send ecash to an npub:

1. P2PK

If you send ecash using P2PK, it is locked to the recipient's Nostr public key. This is a standard Cashu mechanism, so the recipient can claim it using a compatible Cashu wallet.

2. Nostr DM

This is Bey Wallet's Nostr-based send flow. The ecash is sent through a Nostr message, so the receiving wallet needs to support this specific format to receive it.

We also support Cashu payment requests. These can be paid from any compatible Cashu wallet that supports Cashu requests over Nostr, which is already supported by several wallets.

So if you sent the ecash using P2PK, the recipient should be able to claim it from another compatible Cashu wallet. If you used Nostr DM, it currently requires support for Bey Wallet's implementation.
