When eID comes up, many say "but alcohol". They forget it was largely unregulated or widely different up to recently and almost everywhere the legal drinking age in private is "zero", as in a 10 year old could drink at home/at a friends house.

Why do so many ppl have a different idea in their head than the correct idea about reality?
