Ofc it takes time to spot things but it is crazy that ppl literally throw out otherwise perfectly useful stuff onto the street when it seems that a giant economic contraction will happen soon.
The wierdest thing this spring was a very expensive coat not worn much (or only a few minutes from/to work). I fixed a minor seam, washed it at 60°C with Chlorine - voilà, new coat. I tried it once going out and it fits. My gf made big eyes: Where tf did you buy this and with what money?!

I dont buy that bc highly conservatives, religious folks, muslims etc think past (this legal) reality. They are neither communist nor do they relay communist ideas. Just in instances like this they have weird, untrue concepts in their head.
This has nothing to do with their parenting since they prohibit their children to drink. Got it? They ARE parenting and establishing rules but they use a wrong and harmful analogy.

When eID comes up, many say "but alcohol". They forget it was largely unregulated or widely different up to recently and almost everywhere the legal drinking age in private is "zero", as in a 10 year old could drink at home/at a friends house.
