How can you "protect" (this usually means prevent, otherwise what are we even talking about) people from making bad decisions without force or coercion? Laws against fraud protect property rights. That makes sense. Voluntary public education? Sure. But beyond that... You're leaving Capitalism and freedom in general. I can't be free if I can do dumb shit that hurts myself.
