Yeah maybe, but I think making. A compromise softfork(bip111) is the correct path, not firing the miners and forking off. Lots of people liked the idea of disincentivising spam, but didn't like bip110. There are more allies out there.

There are people bragging about backdoor discussions with miners. Can't trust miners on corecoin. POW change is required to mitigate the 51% attack.
