Baby dies after circumcision, mohel from Bnei Brak arrested

Police opened an investigation today (Tuesday) into suspicion of causing death by negligence, following the death of a baby boy as a result of a medical complication discovered after a circumcision. According to the suspicion, he contracted a bacteria during the procedure, and after three weeks of fighting for his life, he was pronounced dead. The mohel, a 66-year-old resident of Bnei Brak, was arrested.
