This is confirmed by official French statistics: 11% of the country’s petrol stations are experiencing shortages of at least one of the two main types of fuel—petrol or diesel. The government statistics cover around 9,900 petrol stations and make clear that this specifically refers to a lack of petrol and/or diesel, not to petrol stations that are completely empty.

Saudi Arabia has cancelled some oil shipments to Europe after drone attacks forced the shutdown of its key East-West pipeline, Reuters reported on Tuesday, adding to mounting pressure on global crude supplies as instability threatens energy infrastructure across the Middle East and North Africa.

Riyadh reportedly informed European customers that some crude cargoes scheduled for loading later in September will be cancelled, while loadings at the Red Sea port of Yanbu have been suspended.

But the sanctions don't touch British components for the F-35 fighter jets the US sells to Israel—parts crucial for the warplanes that have razed Gaza. Nor do they cover British drones & surveillance equipment supplied to Israel.

Total Brit-Israeli trade runs at $8 billion a year, & Occupied Territories account for just 1 percent of it.
