Had to book a business trip to TEXAS! recently and the only flight back had me leaving at 6 pm and getting home at 11 am the next day. I had to put in a half dozen overrides just to book an "out of policy" flight on the company's travel website. What's interesting is a coworker told me he recently had to stay in a roach motel because the booking site said a regular hotel was also out of policy. I explained that you can just override that with some persistence, but he evidently didn't want to rock the boat.
