It feels as if cinema is already dead, yet it is being replaced by an almost unimaginable number of contenders, to the point where it is still unclear what will ultimately take the place of big cinema.

Maybe there will be no big cinema. As in, a “proper” movie where you sit down and keep attention to it will be a niche thing. Like music records. And the bulk of “cinematic experience” is going to be Netflix et al flicks with dumbed down dialogues where the characters say the same thing thre...
