It was so sad, returning to Ireland after 24 years away, last summer.
The amount of ‘you can’t’, ‘we aren’t allowed to’ I heard - especially in the rural areas, like Leitrim was heart breaking.
And I am a firm believer that voting harder will not fix anything. That system is working as intended, and this may be its culmination.
