Intensely interested… 👀 Assuming this would run on-demand? I currently auto-backup to a NAS, then I’d want to trigger the smash. Wouldn’t want to backup compressed versions. 😅

I'm not sure how to answer this. Do you mean could you schedule it to run? Maybe with a shortcut.. but I don't know how. Right now you literally open an app, scan the files and tap a button to compress. It gives you the option to delete originals (which you kinda have to to save space). But you could leave them.

Ok perfect. Yeah I just meant that I would want to have to go in and manually push a button to scan/compress. Otherwise, my fear would be that it’d automatically compress before it backed up to the NAS.. so I’d end up with compressed copies. No bueno. Sounds like it fits my needs. Looking forwa...
