Has anyone made a list of the people who said they would leave Bitcoin if BIP110 does/doesn't get implemented?
I’m a bitcoiner, i’ll remain on the longest chain with the most energy whether it’s what I think is best or not.
Bitcoin’s consensus making process, ie the longest chain with most energy, sorts through competing self interest and finds common interest.
I accept the fact that bitcoin consensus is better than any product produced by an individual.
“Bitcoin consensus” is very much so a distinct thing from “clamor about support”
what people are running, what people are mining, that’s all that matters
actions speak louder than words.
the more this debate rages and boils over, the more I appreciate that bitcoin simply doesn’t care
run whatever software best suits how you USE bitcoin. that’s all that is required. there is no wrong answer. feed the network your self interests, and it will give you a best answer for the network, like it or not.
