De-googling is so hard. I can remove all apps but the one I cannot touch is Google translate. It’s been an absolute life saver for me, but it tracks everything and knows everything about you 😭

I prefer using that within a disposable VM running QubesOS… Second best is to use it without logging in from a browser like Brave, or on a device with a Gmail account that has NO info about me. Sometimes I abuse our dogs Gmail address, but right now the usb-c port for charging that laptop broke ...

There are so many good translate apps. I recommend DeepL. I’m not sure who you are compromising with in regards to data, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t Google.
