So I think the issue is now that it's the permissions the app is asking for? You can't even test the app without all the permissions.

Unfortunately, the app needs all these permissions. Otherwise, it wouldn't fetch your location, show incoming alerts, etc... It wouldn't make sense to start asking for them in a situation where you just want to trigger the alert button. The permissions are a one time thing. Set them at login, then...
