@nprofile1q... I'm surprised you didn't mention anything about digital sovereignty. It's a big consideration for me when I'm choosing a product. It's one thing I like about Vivaldi (Norway), Zorin Linux (Ireland), and have lately considered Codeberg (Germany) over GitHub (United States). I'm kinda like you in that I'm not a professional developer. Most of the crap I upload to GitHub the world could do without. Still, I don't like the idea of all my stuff being under a single (questionable) jurisdiction.
