Did some more yard work today, but it was HOT! Made the first of six raised bed boxes for vegetables next year. Each one will be 6ft x 4ft x 18" deep. I used 2 x 4s to add a top rail so I can sit on the edge. Pretty happy with how the first one turned out - five more to go! #gardening #proofofwork

Looking good. For longevity, durability, drainage, resistance to bowing, and openness to the actual earth, you may want to consider lining them with black heavy poly that wraps anything that touches the earth or wet soil (while remaining open to drain or accept earthworms), and cross 2x4s at the mid...
