Small project started this weekend. Needed a landing for the deck to avoid the mud so I'm adding an 8' x 12' patio at the stairs. My property slopes in multiple directions so I needed to add a mini retaining wall for the edge on one side.

This took me all day to get the ground cut, tamped, and base (with somehelpf from my boys, wife and dog of course).

I've built a 6' x 20' retaining wall elsewhere on my property before but this is my first attempt at a patio. Really trying hard to keep everything level so it looks decent in the end. Well see!
