Here's how to avoid the trap. Before allowing yourself to make a statement, make yourself ask a question. Boomers never ask questions. Neither do idolaters. Ask the questions, give people an opportunity to use their heads - then, maybe you can say a thing, or maybe another question would be better, but just never start with a statement.
