I am watching the original Ocean's 11 for the first time.
The subtexts are actually way better than I was expecting. The setup of the guys all being 82nd Airborne veterans hitting casinos wasn't what I was expecting. It's actually way better than i was expecting, though, the first third of the movie was setting up the heist seemed nearly unnecessary, but, I am actually enjoying the meandering story. It isn't rushed. I always enjoy Dean Martin's singing.
Overall, I am finding this very interesting even though I generally detest everything about Las Vegas and don't really get the appeal of a lot of the Rat Pack milieu.
I am curious to see how the story ends.
