Is this a response to someone complaining about the “uneditable” nature of posts in nostr?

As far as I can tell neither can #NOSTR users, but if they can please, someone, tell me how. I primarily use the Damus app.

Users can delete their YouTube account. Users can delete their Instagram account. Users can delete their WhatsApp accoun. Users can edit Telegram messages.

Not sure if this is saying editing shouldn't be a thing, but I think it should be. The public history should remain largely for technical simplicity and other reasons, but I like the idea of showing the most recent edit/repost, so typos such can be corrected.

All of those things can be edited after they're posted. It happens all the time, it's just not notified with the exception of WhatsApp. What are you talking about?

Telegram has it, WhatsApp as well, all sane app/service should support it. Hope one of the NIPs will cover it as well on #nostr
