If I feel steamrolled, then maybe I shouldn't pre-flatten myself for convenience's sake.

I'm probably not going to stop being a person who often yields in situations where it doesn't feel important. It seems unlikely I would rewrite myself to that degree.

But I could become someone who expresses things she feels & advocates for what she wants.
