I'm constantly amazed people would rather be loyal to a ledger with a specific history of transactions, than a ledger whose protocol actually reflects their values.

My values are fixed supply and a security model which implies the State is the adversary. There’s only one protocol that delivers this.

at least you are clear on that. But number one is dumb and number two isn't going to work out long-term. But I really do think it's unfortunate.
