# BOLT11 Invoice Decoder
A single-file HTML page (16 KB, MIT licensed) that decodes any BOLT11 Lightning invoice right in your browser - before you pay, see exactly what an invoice says.
- **Shows:** network, amount (sats + BTC), timestamp, expiry, payment hash, payment secret, description or description hash, destination pubkey, route-hint count.
- **Destination is cryptographically recovered** from the invoice signature (secp256k1 recovery, implemented in the page) - a tampered invoice fails loudly instead of showing attacker data.
- **No backend, no signup, no tracking, no CDN.** Bech32, BOLT11 parsing, SHA-256 and secp256k1 are all implemented in plain JavaScript in the one file.
- **Tested:** 31/31 checks against real BOLT #11 spec test vectors, including exact destination-pubkey recovery.
