Youngest has been telling me about an acquaintance that, on Snapchat and TikTok, is giving off, to me, a lot of incel vibes.
Not dangerous or really repulsive, just a bit self pitying and pathetic, b...
@nprofile1q... I think a lot of the time the whole "incel" label is a misnomer, very USA-biased (as is the stereotype of a lone male staying in the basement of the parents house playing computer games) and lets too many people off the hook.
They often *do* find girlfriends (even if the relationships are short term and full of drama), and its reflected in the domestic violence cases across this country - and not its not even that new a thing - its the dark side of "lad/ladette culture".
I used to hear the old bill on the radio scanner being called out to pick up the pieces - bear in mind its been 20 years since they went digital/encrypted so this was late 90s to early 00s)
