At the end of the day, the Catholics and Orthodox both believe you must (and are able to) earn your salvation.

Both believe that they have the highest claim via the non-Biblical doctrine of apostolic succession, and they both have heretical traditions being imposed upon Christ and His church.

The true church fathers are the apostles.

The true authority of the church is Scripture.

The true head of the church is Christ.

The true saints are God's elect people.
